Travis Harvey is a seasoned Occupational Health and Safety professional with over fifteen years of experience supporting safety programs across diverse and demanding work environments, including oil sands operations, municipal operations, post-secondary education, and healthcare.

Travis holds a Bachelor of Arts (2008) from Memorial University, where he developed a strong foundation in critical thinking, communication, and organizational systems. He went on to complete an Advanced Diploma in Safety Engineering from the College of the North Atlantic (2011).

In 2021, Travis completed a Certificate in Safety Leadership from the University of New Brunswick. In 2025, recognizing the interplay between safety and industrial relations, Travis commenced his Bachelor of Industrial Relations and Human Resources at Athabasca University.

Travis is a dedicated community member, having volunteered with several non-profit and community-based initiatives throughout Fort McMurray. In 2018, Travis received one of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo’s highest honours - Champion of the Community.
